Yeah... I am still doing character pics.

This didn't take as long as I thought due to the gift (and the curse) of copy/paste, although I will regret it later.

Counters: Most fighting types, Speedy pokémon.
Countered by: Water types, Walls, area effect attacks.
Backstory:
Alpin was caught as a test of sorts. Adler had been challenged to catch a team of 6 random pokémon and use them in a battle with only 3 hours time to get to know them.
In these 3 hours Adler taught him a few new techniques including a way to make his flamethrower burn hotter, a few new moves and a few new ways to use them.
In the end Adler won the match and released them all back into the wild, however Alpin would not leave him alone until he was allowed to stay, he'd rather enjoyed having a trainer.
He wasn't used very often up until he learned substitute.
With this he learned to dublicate himself competely. Each one would be just as strong as each other with identical skills and abilities.
Unfortunately he first tested this new power in a fight with Spike. Although he created close to 80 clones of himself, Spike easily destroyed every one with a single blow.
He spent a week recovering before he woke up.

Other stuff:
Although it was learning substitute which triggered this power, the copies are not substitutes, they are full clones of himself.
It's unknown how they communicate with each other, it is not telepathy as there is no psychic power involved, it is more like them automaticaly knowing what the others know.
There is no 'original' which can be targeted to wipe them all out, every one of them must be defeated in order to truly beat him.

Alpin always keeps 5 of himself out at all times, when he gets worked up he can produce more copies (in an average spar he can create 20, in an average fight he can create 30-40).
The maximum clones he's ever had at once was almost 500 (in a battle with a Heatran).
