Oooh freezey..

I decided to draw a referance picture to Link.
Out of my own free will and has absolutely nothing to do with *Riolu19054's current all riolu picture project.
...well almost.

In the end I spent more time on it than any of my usual pictures.

Magic is the fifth power (after Aura, Psychic power, Dark power and Dragonic power).
It is unlike the other four because it requires an actual substance to work, a fine blue and red dust aptly named 'Magic'

When this dust is sprinkled into shapes and then given a catalyst (which can be almost anything (sounds, wind, one of the other four powers, even just thoughts)) it has a variety of extremely radical effects.
However due to the difficulty of it landing in the correct shape, or that it is given exactly the right catalyst it usually makes mistakes (the mistakes range from simply not working at all, to spliting the atoms of every molicule from here to Jupiter). As such, it takes years of practice (possibly a whole lifetime if a human tried to learn it) in order to not mess anything up.

This is 'Raw' magic.

It can also be stabilised which limits its total potential and doesn't increase the success rate of a spell, however there is less of a chance of it destroying the space time continuum should it go wrong.

It can also be attuned to a particular spell.
Attuned magic can't be used for anything other than the spell it was meant to do. It has a high success rate and if a mistake is made during the spell then absolutely nothing will happen, however it requires hours of preparation to attune the magic dust correctly.

Link is one of the two creatures alive who can use magic in its 'raw' form and consistently not blow up the earth.
He keeps the dust inside a hollowed out horn which lets him trace the required shapes really easily. He can also cast quite complex spells in under a minute.

He can't use it in any sort of battle, even attuned magic can't be cast that fast, and he actually prefers to use his other skills even when magic would be more efficient.

His collar is also magically imbued, I might get to it's effects in a later picture (this description is getting so long).
